Yeah, so.....

There's a leak in my apartment. Maintenance dude said it's the pipe. They're going to come in tomorrow and cut into the sheet rock and fix it. So there's going to be a great lovely mess in here tomorrow. And I get to be home to deal with it all, including the wonderful workers with horrible accents who barely speak English. Some of them are quite nice, but it really is hard to understand them.

While I'm not busy moping and being annoyed/frustrated by this predicament, I will be working on the following:

Review of the anime Natsume Yuujinchou, Telepathy Shojou Ran, Cromartie High School, Chocolate Underground, and Itazura na Kiss, and the video game The World Ends With You.

No. :( I'm soooo tired. But I need to be awake for when they come over. It's almost 10 now and no one has been by, so I'm getting kind of annoyed as well.

cheer up. Think of all the good sleep you'll have after they leave

@Kris: Ugh, I hate that. Mine was the water heater in the garage some years ago. Flooded the entire garage floor. But glad to hear you're safe from the effects of Ike. ^_^

No, we didn't have any problems from Ike where I live. Plenty of rain and a little wind, but nothing major. We were expecting worse, but it wasn't really anything at all.

Anyway, they basically came by, saw it wasn't leaking at that precise moment, and left. The basic mentality of any sort of maintenance job is that if the problem isn't manifesting itself at the moment they come by, they don't do anything about it, as if it doesn't exist. But the water had to come from SOMEWHERE, even if it's not visibly dripping anymore. So we plan on badgering them until the do something about it; it's better than getting mold up in there, which would be more difficult to take care of.
